Our vinyl lettering is already spaced and covered with transfer tape, so you can install it all at once. Just follow the simple instructions to get it on perfectly.
Step 1: Make sure to clean the surface and dry it well before you place the lettering.
Step 2: If needed, measure and mark the spot. Next, apply a strip of masking or painters‘ tape across the top to hold the design in place like a hinge. The upper half of the tape should lie on top of the desired surface.
Step 3: Lift the bottom edge of the graphic from the surface and peel off the back liner (not the transfer tape), exposing the sticky side.Avoid letting the sticky part touch the surface.
Step 4: Use a squeegee to press down on the front of the lettering (the pre-masked side) and apply it to the surface. Work from top to bottom and left to right. If you get bubbles, lift the graphic and smooth it out again.
Step 5: Begin removing the pre-mask transfer tape from the top corner. If the vinyl starts to peel off, press it back with the squeegee and keep removing the tape.
